Lawsuit Against Amazon for Injuries Caused by Delivery Driver by Monge & Associates Law Firm

A recent lawsuit filed by Monge & Associates, a private injury law company headquartered in Atlanta, is the newest in a string of legal proceedings about Amazon delivery drivers.

Scott Harrison, a lawyer at Monge & Associates, filed the lawsuit filed in State Court of Cobb County Georgia Case 21-A-2303 ANS RANA vs. AMAZON LOGISTICS, INC on behalf of Ans Rana, who was in the backseat of his brother’s car when an Amazon delivery van rear-ended it at an approximate speed of 67.73 mph on March 15, 2021. The effect left Rana with life-changing brain and spinal-cord damages.

The lawsuit declares that the driver allegedly was travelling 67.73 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone when it knocked Rana’s brother’s car on Interstate 75 in Atlanta.

Subsequently spending months in the hospital, the 24-year-old Rana now lives w h his sister who helps with his care. Rana, who before lived a healthy lifestyle, is restricted to a motorized wheelchair and needs help finishing basic tasks such as getting out of bed or brushing his teeth. His medical bills exceed $2 million.
